Maly Yang is a bilingual city-wide school social worker for Milwaukee Public Schools. Maly graduated with her Bachelor of Art from Eastern Washington State University in Cheney, Washington and her master's in School Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Maly has been working as a Bilingual School Social Worker for MPS for the last 20 years and has also served as committee board members for many Hmong organizations.
Maly is also involved in both national and local Hmong Churches in the United States, including the Alliance Women Department of the Christian, Missionary Alliance Hmong National District, Grace Hmong Alliance Church in Milwaukee, WI, and Christian and Missionary Alliance Women in the local church of Spokane, WA and Madison, WI. She also have experience in business management, where she owns small and personal businesses that specialize in tax preparation, insurance, and indirect sales.
Maly is currently a member of Hlub Foundation and was also involved in the initial organizing of Hlub Foundation.
